What We Believe

We are pentecostal in experience and apostolic by doctrine.

GODHEAD

1. We believe there is one God.

"Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:" Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV)

We believe that God was manifested in the flesh, in the man Christ Jesus and in him is the fulness of the godhead.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory." 1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)

"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Colossians 2:9 (KJV)

SALVATION

1. We believe salvation comes from being born again of water and spirit.

"Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." John 3:5 (KJV)

2. We believe in fulfilling the Scriptures and that it's essential to repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and to be filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Acts 2:38-39 (KJV)

"While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days." Acts 10:44-48 (KJV)

3. We believe there is only one name by which we are saved, the name of Jesus.

"Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." Acts 4:10-12 (KJV)
